Returning for Term II, 2007

Kids found it a bit hard coming back to cold Toowoomba away from friends and family.

We realize that all of us need to we need to focus on the purpose: to give a chance to the community, to stop the suffering, to take control - and education is the way.

Tiwi parents will get their own St V de P Society working again, to distribute clothes to the old ones and to give encouragement to the brave kids working hard in Toowoomba.

The St V de P Society and the Parish at Kenmore gave a dinner, then they relaxed before the Lions and ate some good wholesome food. Jim Devereaux is the new President of Vinnies at Kenmore

The Society of St Vincent De Paul has Kathleen Ferraro organizing the trips between Tiwi Islands and Brisbane. The whole staff at St V de P Queensland Head Office is backing the kids up!

Bradley, Wilfred, Brigetta, Josita and Sebina wee supported in Brisbane by Bro Ted before getting on to a plane to Brisbane. Then St V de P gave the use of a car to travel to Toowoomba and to support the kids in this difficult assignment and make them happy.
