Eusebia back at home and on the job!

Eusebia leaves the Tiwi Island on Monday, and catches the 1.10am plane to Brisbane and will be at Downlands by 10.30am. She will be tired!

Today she entered the hours worked by of each of the team into the Pirlangimpi Community Payroll program.

Once the 'hours worked' are entered, the program calculates the pay packet that each worker will received this week.
Then Eusebia helped Urban with a problem.

It is a great part of her job that Eusebia is available to provide help people when there are problems with mail Social Security cheques.

Eusebia is coming to Downlands to:
1. support her sisters,
2. support the teachers and to
3. take the message home of what a great job Therese, Josita and Downlands are doing.

Waiting for Eusebia

We can hardly wait for the arrival of Eusebia. She will be tired when she arrives and might need a sleep. She will spend two nights with us and then go back to Brisbane to talk with the Society of St Vincent de Paul men.

The St Vincent de Paul spend $2000 a year on us in travel alone. They need to know that they are helping the Tiwi families and the Tiwi community grow strong. If Sebina joins us next term and other kids come next year, that is a lot of money St V de P is spending. We have to work hard to thank them!!

Eusebia will explain the work she does and what we have to train up for and she will explain how Downlands and the St V de P Society are helping the young kids build a life.
