Easter Break 08

An Early Easter gave us a four day long weekend at Kenmore, the highlight of which was a Tiwi Choir singing at the Easter Sunday mass - aided by former Milikakapati lay missionary Tania and visiting Nigherian Kidney Doctor Adanze and her husband Boniface - Adanze sang Tiwi as well as anyone. The parish was thrilled to hear Tiwi hymns!

After mass there was a bar-b-que at Justin and Carol's place as they, like others in the parish, are keen to host kids as Tiwi numbers down here increase
On the Saturday Vinnie's Jim Devaraux took us to the Gold Coast to meet with Waverley and Llew Stanley who run Yalari (see http://www.yalari.org/index.htm) and the Puruntatamerigirls who are at school at PLC Armidale, thanks to Yalari.

Friends Daniel and Pam Wilkie gave the boys a motor bike so they can have fun on future home-weekends in Kenmore. Jessiah and John then completely exhausted the dog in the pool.

Jim Devaraux funded new football boots for everyone, as all begin Touch Football next week.

Tom had his 19th birthday and it was the first time Noreen and Joanne had met Tom. You can see they enjoyed it!
